The International Congress of Nutrition is a quadrennial congress organized under the auspices of the International Union of Nutrition Sciences (IUNS), an international body devoted to promote advancement in nutrition science, research and development through international cooperation. The Nutrition Association of Thailand, under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, will be the host and the organizer of ICN 2009, scheduled on 4-9 October 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The theme of the conference is “Nutrition Security for All” and will feature the latest scientific and practice-oriented solutions to the present and future challenges of securing the need for safe, adequate, and nutritious food supply; basic nutrition and health services; nutrition strategies and interventions; and nutrition education and communication, thereby improving the quality of life of peoples and communities around the world.
