The American Overseas Dietetic Association Conference 2009 (AODA 2009) is scheduled to be held from 23rd – 25th April 2009 at Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur.
 
The American Overseas Dietetic Association (AODA) is the international affiliate of the American Dietetic Association (ADA). It has nearly 700 nutrition professionals living in more than 70 countries around the world. The AODA members practice in a wide variety of settings, including:
 
- Colleges and universities
 
- Schools and the community
 
- Overseas US Military bases
 
- Local hospitals and clinics
 
- Private practice and consultation
 
- Industry and food service facilities
 
AODA provides internationally-focused ADA members, ADA members living overseas, and other interested professionals an opportunity to establish professional contacts and obtain continuing education credits. The AODA members enjoy the same privileges as other American Dietetic Association (ADA) affiliates.
 
The American Overseas Dietetic Association (AODA) Conference 2009 is an annual regional conference organised by the AODA country representative. The main purpose of this conference is to create an avenue of networking for the AODA members, as well as to gather the experts so that the members can gain the most updated information and experience to upgrade the members' professional and improve their practices. We expect about 350 international dietitians and nutrition professionals to attend this conference.
